About Foundation Relations

Welcome to the Office of Foundation Relations. The role of the FR office is to assist faculty and staff to partner with a variety of foundation and corporations to enhance the University's research and educational programs. 

In order to do this, we create and maintain mutually beneficial, long-term relationships with private organizations, matching funding initiatives with educational and research programs and centers. FR coordinates solicitations, including campus down-selection procedures for limited submission programs. We work directly with faculty to review and improve written components and oral presentations during the application process. We also provide stewardship during the post-award phase, coordinating and ensuring the quality of annual reports to and site visits by foundation representatives.
