FR Collaborators on Campus

MacArthur Award Winner Beth Shapiro

The FR staff works closely with the following university organizations to promote and support research and educational projects, and to ensure that awards are administered and properly.

Divisional Development Offices: Each of UCSC's five major divisions or schools, plus the University Library, are assigned teams of development officers, whose mission is to connect individual, foundation, and corporate donors to the outstanding research or education programs at UC Santa Cruz. These development officers engage private organizations, alumni, parents, and other friends of the campus with opportunities to support that division's exceptional programs. We communicate with divisional development officers regularly to exchange information about funding priorities and opportunities.

The UC Santa Cruz Foundation: The UC Santa Cruz Foundation is a not-for-profit, public-benefit corporation organized in 1974 to raise and manage private support for UC Santa Cruz. The Foundation works in close partnership with UCSC’s chancellor, administration, faculty and staff, including FR. [More]
